DRIVES 2022-23
‘My Dream Book’ Drive
We've collaborated with Spandana Trust a Mysuru-based NGO to raise funds through the “My Dream Book” drive. My Dream Book Project is an initiative by Spandana Trust to provide notebooks to underprivileged children. Students in Government schools are provided with textbooks; however, most do not have access to writable notebooks, which has proven to be a leading cause of children dropping out. Through this drive, we aim to tackle this issue by manufacturing and providing new notebooks to these underprivileged children. We are raising funds to support 1,00,000 students by providing 6 notebooks each. The funds are raised to manufacture new notebooks instead of collecting books in order to eliminate threats of re-sale, avoid damaged or used books, and make sure every student gets the same book to avoid any feelings of insecurity. One notebook only cost 28 rupees to manufacture. The outer cover of the books will have "Not For Sale" printed on it to avoid re-sale. Your donations will allow us to fulfil the stationery needs of these children. We started this drive on the 11th of July and it ended on the 18th of July.
DRIVES 2020-21
Mission Vaccination Drive 2020-21
Mission Vaccination Drive was an initiative taken by Enactus JU in collaboration with the Bangalore Student Community. We successfully raised 9,00,000 rupees through a crowdfunding campaign and the fund raised was utilized to procure Covishield vaccines which were subsequently transferred to the two villages Named Sangli and Tungal,
where the Bangalore Student Community administered the vaccines to the villagers along with the support of a few volunteers from Enactus JU.
Abhikhya Drive 2020-21
The Abhikhya drive was organized in collaboration with the Robin Hood Army with an aim to teach and engage in the making of products utilizing molding techniques to the children and women of underprivileged communities. With the collaborative efforts of the team and the community, we produced varieties of the products and the community has proved to have acknowledged the making of the products.
